Remembering the First Accessible iPhone From Ten Years Ago

In this Tech Doctor podcast, Robert is joined by Anna Dresner, Darcy Burnard, Steve Sawczyn and David Woodbridge.

The first accessible iPhone went on sale on June 19, 2009. It was the iPhone 3GS.

We are celebrating ten years of iPhone accessibility and remembering what it was like when our dream came true during the 2009 WWDC keynote presentation. You will hear audio from the WWDC stage and some audio clips from a very excited group of Maccessibility podcasters who recorded just after the 2009 keynote.

Come along with us and relive the excitement. Even after ten years, we are still astounded at the way Apple engineered VoiceOver to work on the iPhone’s touch-screen.

It was wonderful to get this group of iPhone pioneers together. Listen for their contact information at the end of the podcast.
