This Tech Doctor episode begins with David Woodbridge introducing the soon-to-be available QWERTY version of the BrailleNote Evolve from HumanWare. The BrailleNote Evolve is a Windows 11 based Braille computer.
In addition to exploring the BrailleNote Evolve QWERTY, the Tech Doctors brainstorm about ways to help users of this technology figure out which particular equipment would be right for them. The Tech Doctors emphasize the importance of finding ways for blind people to get hands-on experience with the currently available refreshable Braille devices before making a purchase. Buying the device that best suits your individual needs is critical.
